Father is just trying to illustrate a point, but sad false equivalency of abortion to capital punishment. Capital punishment is not inherently evil. Abortion is inherently evil. Even in the context of modern world, it is not inherently wrong for a politician to believe that there are scenarios where capital punishment is the right and just thing to do. You are conflating innocence with guilt. I’m sorry father, but your wrong and this is a harmful teaching.

I married at 16- years old forced by my mother. I didn’t have children until I was 20 but we had pre marital sex. I stayed married until my husband passed still no other spouse in my life. But I was not married into the church until we were married for 15-years. Often I felt we were sinners in the eyes of the church and God until we were married in the church we stayed married 42-years.

We have a fairly large mass at my parish, especially the TLM. We have both masses. We have altar rails and I can tell you kneeling at the altar rail moves people pretty quickly, and it’s only Father. By the way, I have always hated the sign of peace, and what it has become is unbearable for me.

There has to be a conversation about how people are not taken seriosuly when dark magic is used against them. Not everyone presents as someone who is possessed. They get ill, dream terrible dreams, which are all very difficult to prove, yet they suffer for years and years. Imagine being in pain or getting ill, and you have no means to cure this, if you sinning and not aware that it is a supernatural force being performed on you.

Mary doesn't hear your prayers and would be appalled that anyone would pray to her or treat her like she is some sort of sinless deity. I have been in Catholics houses that have huge alters to Mary which they pray to with candles. It's literally pagan worship and is so sad to see from people who call themselves Christians.
